UCEAP 50th Anniversary Scotland/Ireland student competition. We have a winner!

The celebrations for the UCEAP 50th Anniversary kicked off in Edinburgh on Saturday 10th October 2015. Current UCEAP students in Scotland and Ireland, Alumni, Partner Liaisons from Scottish host Universities, and UCEAP staff members gathered in the suggestive spaces of the Hub in Edinburgh’s Old Town, and enjoyed a night of traditional Scottish food and dance.

We invited students to enter a competition: encapsulate in no more than 20 words their academic exchange in the UK. Armed with pens and 50th UCEAP Anniversary cards, students battled it out to write the most inspiring post. The prize? A £15 Amazon voucher for the first place.

Thank you to everyone who entered our competition, we were delighted to receive so many thoughtful, funny and creative cards. Competition was tough and decision was difficult, but we are pleased to announce the winners.

First place goes to Keira Whitaker. UCI student on exchange at UC Cork, Keira wrote: ‘UCEAP has provided me with the opportunity to reach distant places, where my mind is limitless and my courage borderless

Congrats to Keira! Very well said.
