On 21 April 2016, the Edinburgh Study Centre took our UCEAP Scotland participants on a walking food tour of the city.
Led by tour guide Julie, the students were taken through
both Old and New Town and given an account of the rich history of the city with multiple food tasting stops in between.
The students learned more about the grisly history and rich cultural heritage of Edinburgh while sampling some of the finest traditional fare at local restaurants.
At the end of the trip, each student was given a custom etched spurtle, which was designed in partnership with Cranachan & Crowdie, to remember their trip by.
