“This post will be a cheeseball and a half, but...I wanted to give a shoutout to how much I loved my UCEAP experience. I studied abroad with the program in London in 2014, and it was absolutely the best part of my college experience. I fell in love with the city and the people I met there, so much so that I moved back to England in 2017 for postgrad. The experience of moving abroad the first time, facilitated by UCEAP, gave me so much self confidence, allowed me to meet new people and see new places like never before, and inspired me to pursue my dream of working in publishing. ‘We were total strangers when we met at UCSB English Universities orientation back in April 2018. Now, we are lifelong friends.
